Lighting up the Dance Floor

 

Electrical and computer engineering students teamed up with the BYU Ballroom Dance Company, building LED light dresses that the dancers wore in their first-place performance at the British Open Championships.

Funding Innovation

 

Owlet, winner of the college's Student Innovator of the Year (SIOY) competition, recently won an additional $30,000 in the BYU Miller New Venture Challenge, bringing their total to $163,000.

1,331 MPG

 

BYU's supermileage vehicle got 1,331 MPG at last week's SAE Supermileage Competition. They won 1st place for most MPG and 2nd place overall.
