To access CAEDM at home over the Internet, you need to install the Citrix ICA Client. To do this you need to: 1. Download the client, saving it to your desktop. 2. Double-click "ica32.exe" on your desktop after downloading it. 3. When the automatic installation (not visible; running in the background) completes, a window pops up with a link to Citrix Program Neighborhood. You can close this window and delete the ica32.exe file from your desktop. 4. The preconfigured client is now installed on the computer. To run double-click the "Citrix Program Neighborhood" icon on the desktop or under "Start>Programs>Citrix>Metaframe Access clients>Program Neighborhood". 5. When you run Citrix Program Neighborhood, a window pops up with shortcuts to CAEDM Windows and CAEDM Unix Citrix Desktops. Double-clicking one of these shortcuts will connect you to either a Windows or HP-UX desktop. 6. While connecting to a desktop, it will ask for your username, password, and possibly the domain. In the "Username" field put your CAEDM username, in the "Password" field type your CAEDM password, and in the "Domain" Field (if present) select "CAEDM_AD". *The C: drive will be your personal computer's harddrive. The J: drive will be the same as if in a CAEDM lab.* For support questions write to windows@et.byu.edu or call (801) 422-5960.
