Technical Issues

The purpose of this page is to let you know of common computer / web site problems and possible solutions. If you are having problems not listed here with either the department computers or the department web site please contact the department CSR or web master so that they can solve the problem. Thunderbird Mail Issue

When we switched the mail client from the old Mozilla mail client to the new Thunderbird program some people's mail was not migrated. If when you start Thunderbird and it asks you to set up a new email account please see the CAEDM administrators in CB 423 to fix this problem.

CAEDM Mail Forwarding Issue

Some students are having problems getting their mail forwarded from their CAEDM email to the email they specify. Some email providers use spam filters. Even though the emails sent from CEEn are not spam sometimes the filters catch them anyways. Check in your spam folder. If there are messages from CEEn mark them as not spam.
