The BYU Chemical Engineering Alumni Society need volunteers to be class representatives for their graduating class. The class representative will, through personal efforts and/or through organizing other alumni, accomplish the following:
- Identify all graduates of your graduating class and compile correct contact information (database resources are available to you at the BYU Chemical Engineering website www.et.byu.edu/cheme).
- Assist classmates in accessing the BYU ChemE Alumni Society website and updating their address and contact information that promotes fellowshipping and networking among former classmates, and Society newsletter distribution. Classmates are encouraged to enter their personal information into the Society database on the BYU Chemical Engineering website.
- Contact classmates about BYU ChemE Alumni Society events (e.g., BYU Chemical Engineering Annual Homecoming Football Game and Dinner, class reunions, etc.). Society event information will be posted on the BYU Chemical Engineering website and in the Society newsletters.
- Promote BYU ChemE Alumni Society membership by distributing information about the Society (e.g., Charter memberships, Society By-laws, service projects, career networking).
- Assist BYU ChemE Alumni Society Board by contacting classmates for service projects. Alumni Society Board will contact class representatives on pertinent information.
- Assist classmates in accessing job information on the BYU Chemical Engineering website.
- Assist classmates in networking with other alumni in their ChemE field of interest by accessing the BYU Chemical Engineering website.
- Organizing or delegation of responsibilities of class reunions and/or activities (e.g, class scholarships, outstanding alumnus nominations).
