Our environmental research efforts deal with quantifying and modelling processes of contaminant mobility and transformation in the subsurface.  The modelling of these processes require an understanding of fundamental transport, phase equilibrium and kinetic behavior.  These efforts contribute to efficient, cost-effective remediation process design.

Other areas of interest include global warming, ozone depletion and process design for waste minimization.
