Remodeling in the Clyde Building

Most of the laboratories in the Chemical Engineering space on the third floor of the Clyde Building were moved in June to accommodate remodeling. The chemical hoods are all being replaced, along with the corresponding duct system and most of the casework and lab benches. The heating and cooling systems in the building are being redone as well. The windows in the offices on the south side of the Clyde Building were replaced with double pane windows. The remodeling has caused severe disruptions in our research efforts, but other departments have been very helpful in loaning us space to continue in one manner or another. The remodeling is expected to be completed in October.
