| The College of Engineering and Technology has recently started up a chapter of Engineers Without Borders (EWB). EWB is a non-profit humanitarian organization established to partner with developing communities worldwide in order to improve their quality of life. This partnership involves the implementation of sustainable engineering projects, while involving and training internationally responsible engineers and engineering students. This year we are working on implementing a coconut to biodiesel process in Kenya and Tonga. Sign up for ChEn 498R to participate. More details forthcoming. |
