Level-3 Competency Exam
The Level-3 competency exam is intended to test basic, fundamental concepts that every chemical engineering student
graduating from BYU should understand. All students must pass this exam during the senior year.
The student may make three attempts to pass the exam, with those three attempts scheduled as follows:
| First attempt: | Last two weeks in September (Monday, Sep. 15, 2008 - Saturday, Sep. 27, 2008) |
| Second attempt: | Last two weeks in October (Monday, Oct. 20, 2008 - Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008) |
| Third attempt: | First two weeks in January (Monday, Jan. 5, 2009 - Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009) |
