Students in the Ira A. Fulton College will have the opportunity to be mentored by successful professionals as part of the college's Advancement Council for Engineering and Technology (ACET) conference November 8 and 9.
ACET members are friends and alumni of the college that have a wide variety of professional and leadership experiences. Many have served as CEOs, vice presidents or founders of their companies.

Students can participate in two events:
Mentoring Dinner--Thursday, November 8, 2012 6:00-9:00 p.m., 3220 WSC
Seniors, graduate students and their spouses, if applicable, are invited to attend a dinner where they are personally mentored at the table by an ACET member from their discipline. Dinner will be followed by two 35-minute breakout sessions where students can ask ACET members questions about a variety of topics. Dress is professional.
Networking Activity--Friday, November 9, 2012 12:00-1:00 p.m., Clyde Building Lounge
Sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students in the college are invited to a special networking event. Networking is an essential skill for professionals. The ACET members will provide students with feedback on how to successfully navigate networking and interviewing. Light appetizers will be served, dress is business casual.
