Expo, competitions to celebrate engineering & technology Feb. 24

EngTech Expo & Tours   (WSC Garden Court)

Check out interactive exhibits and hands-on demonstrations celebrating engineering and technology. Learn about everything from space rockets to artificial hearts and see award-winning animation, BYU’s very own electric race car and much more.  Exhibits will be on display in the Wilkinson Student Center Garden Court (room 2030 on this map) from 9-11 a.m. or 12-2 p.m.  The college will also offer tours of the science, engineering and technology areas of campus.
Competitions (3220 WSC)
The college will host competitions based on engineering principles.  There will be a college-aged competition level and a level for middle and high school students.  Events include a Lego Mindstorm robot challenge and paper airplane, tower and boat building competitions.  (List of competitions)   
E&T Student v. Faculty Challenge!
Don't miss the first ever E&T Student vs. Faculty Challenge!  All students and faculty in the college are invited  to attend Thursday, Feb. 24 at 5:30 p.m. in the Clyde Building Lounge.  Come enjoy delicious Cafe Rio while watching student and faculty teams compete in exciting Minute-to-Win-It style games.  The college will also honor a favorite faculty member from each department, as chosen by student vote.   

Tickets are only $3 ea. or 2 for $5!  Tickets go on sale Feb. 10 for clubs, Feb. 14 for the rest of the college.  Purchase in 270 CB with your Signature Card, cash or check.  Seating is limited to the first 200.
