Dr. Bartholomew and Dr. Hecker direct the following research groups:

 

Biological Agent Catalytic SubSystem (BACS)

  • Members: Dr. Bartholomew, Aaron Nackos, Dr. Lee and students, Dr. Robinson and students
  • Activities and Objectives: Develop devices to generate biomarkers for detection of biological agents.

Fischer-Tropsch Experimental Study (FTE)

  • Members: Mike McMurtrey, Kaleb Robinson, Doug Tree, Joe Bell, Mark Robison, Emerson Fry
  • Activities and Objectives: To develop industrial standard iron and cobalt catalysts.

Department of Energy Fischer-Tropsch Study (DFT)
  • Members: Dr. Hu Zou, Uchenna Paul
  • Activities and Objectives: Develop a microkinetics submodel of FT reaction rates on an iron catalyst.
