Final Exam:  12 August 3:00-4:50 pm

Web Site:  The class website can be located from the college web page (www.et.byu.edu).  Click on “Student Information”, then “Course Websites”.  Our class is ce351-02.  The website will include information about the TA and TA hours, the course schedule and assignments, and grade postings (among other things). Check the site regularly to make sure your grades are properly posted.

Homework:  Problems have been selected from the questions at the end of each chapter of the text.  See the schedule for specific information about assignments and due dates.  Each question will be equally weighted even though some problems are more involved than others.  They will be due at the beginning of the class period.  Late assignments will be accepted with a 10% deduction per class period they are late.

Field Trip:  A field trip will be conducted to the Provo Wastewater Reclamation Facility.  Attendance will count as one home assignment.

Final Grade:  The course will be graded by equally weighting the homework average, midterm score, paper grade and final exam score.  The average grade for this class will be between 2.8 and 3.2, as required by department guidelines.
