Cadence Resource Page

Finding Cadence documentation

Cadence documentation can be accessed by typing cdsdoc on a terminal command line after you have set up the Cadence environment. Do not use the Help->Cadence Documentation menu in the Cadence tools as this will not work properly. Also, you cannot access the documentation when logged in using ssh -- this has to do with some truly bizarre ways in which Cadence interacts with Mozilla/Firefox browsers. You can find PDFs of some of the manuals in /opt/cadence/*/doc/..., but the names of the manuals are somewhat hard to predict.
