Welcome to the homepage of the BYU Quadrotor Senior Project. The objective of this project is to design and implement a quadrotor that uses computer vision to track a ground based mobile robot while it navigates through a race course. We will be teaming and coordinating with the Robot Racers senior design personnel. They will design the robots, and we will design the quadrotors.

This project is a unique design experience. Nobody has ever flown a stand alone, vision guided, quadrotor, where the sensors and image processing are completely on-board. If we are successful we will not only have worldwide bragging rights, but will have made a significant engineering contribution to the flying robotics field. And to do it as undergraduates will truly be phenominal!
