A little about us - We are a group of undergraduate students at Brigham Young University (BYU) working on our senior project. Our original goal was to be able to track and follow a small vehicle on the ground using only onboard vision processing and sensor data. It turned out that due to time constraints and the difficulty of the problem, we changed our goal to be able to track a stationary target on the ground and be able to fly autonomously at all.
The Conclusion - April 2008

We competed on April 10th 2008 at BYU in the Garden Court. Our team was the only team able to complete the goal of autonomous flight by using onboard vision processing to track an object on the ground. We won the competition, so this is our webpage to help others acheive what we were able to do.
