   The Society of Manufacturing Engineers

  is an organization of engineers dedicated to helping engineers to further their professionalism, knowledge, and learning. SME has grown to more that 70,000 members since 1932.

 Some benefits of joining:                                                          

- You can receive the Manufacturing Engineering Magazine each month -- it contains articles on current and cutting edge technology.

 - SME NEWS, mailed six times a year -- will keep you abreast of the upcoming events, seminars, and chapter activities.

 - Opportunities to meet other engineers from whom you can learn and with whom you can network and share ideas.

 - SME members benefit from free school seminars and factory tours.  Professionals share their experience in a format geared to students.
