The Junior Class Students have just returned from their annual field trip. This year, the students went to Austin Texas. This is the first year that the BYUID program has gone to Austin. The students visited Frog, Axis, Fahrenheit, among others.
BYUID Students have been asked by Icon Health and Fitness, the world's largest manufacturer of home fitness equipment, to look at the idea of Sustainability. The project goes through April, when the students will present their ideas and solutions to Icon designers and Management.
For the second year in a row, BYUID has won honors from the Industrial Design Society of America (IDSA) in the form of a national student scholarship awarded to one of its students. This year, the recipient is Ke Li, an industrial design major from China.
