Although women in cybersecurity are scarce, BYU’s cybersecurity team is half female. After taking second place at the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition, the three captains of the team were invited to FOX News for an interview.

A Bigger Trailer
A team of students used their capstone project to make a difference in a young man’s life. They built an affordable adult-sized bike trailer/jogging stroller for McKay Mitton, an 18-year-old with cerebral palsy who had outgrown his previous trailer. Open-source plans for the project are now available.

Importance of Leadership
BYU students had the privilege of hearing from Lieutenant General Thomas P. Bostick, the U.S. Army’s 53rd Chief of Engineers and Command General of the Corps of Engineers. Bostick drew on his own experiences to inspire students to become better leaders and communicators.
