MS in Technology

Entrance Requirements

• Accredited BS Degree in related field
• Entrance examinations:  GRE general test.  For students considering Construction Management (CM), the GMAT test may be substituted for the GRE.  Mininum scores of 55% are required in all sections of these tests: 
• A GRE score of 55% in Math is approximately 610
• A GRE score of 55% in Verbal is approximately 510
• A GRE score of 55% in Writing is 5.0
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (based on last 60 hours of college work)
• TOEFL (for non-native English speakers) minimum of 570 on written test, 213 on computer-based test
• 3 letters of recommendation
• Focused letter of intent/personal statement

Graduation Requirements

• 30 credit hours
• 6 Credit hours of TECH core classes (TECH 601, and 638)
• 9 Credit hours of program specific classes - must be 300-level or above
• 9 Credit hours of technical electives - must be 300-level or above
• 6 Credit hours of thesis (TECH 699R)
