In celebration of National Engineers Week, the BYU Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering and Technology invites middle and high school students to campus to check out interactive exhibits and demonstrations on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017.

The BYU EngTech Expo shows how fun and exciting STEM fields can be! Visitors will learn engineering and science principles through hands-on activities like designing and launching rockets, making ice cream with liquid nitrogen, programming Lego Mindstorms, controlling toy cars with brain waves, and much more. They will also get to see engineering and technology in action as they tour the college’s labs.
There will be three sessions in the Wilkinson Student Center Garden Court (room 2030) from 8:30 - 10: 30 a.m. 10:30 - 12:30 p.m. or 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.
Schools will be assigned to a specific rotational schedule at the expo.
- During the booths rotation, students will be able to see the interactive displays.
- During the tour rotation, students will visit research labs in the college.
- During the competitions rotation, students will get the chance to create an engineering project.
