Faculty Funding

International Collaboration Grants

Objective:

Promote the establishment of new international collaborations that further the research impact and breadth of the faculty member.  The targeted collaborations should benefit students with the possibility to develop shared funding or additional international opportunities (internship, study abroad, international research).

Funding:

Up to $3,000 can be allocated for faculty travel-related expenses (funding not applicable for student travel or for attendance at international conferences).

Application:

Faculty apply via email with justification based on the criteria below. 

  • Chair or director support must accompany the application. 
  • Each application should include appropriate budget justification

Criteria:

  1. Potential for furthering the international reach of the college
  2. Potential for developing a productive collaborative relationship
  3. Creation of new opportunities for students
  4. Fit with faculty research and teaching directions
  5. Fit with departmental and college strategies

 


 

The Weidman Center is willing to assist faculty in developing international relationships that will lead to international research, international internships, technical study abroad and other opportunitities.
