There are many scholarship opportunities for women in engineering and technology.

Society of Women Engineers

Application Deadline: February 15th

SWE Scholarships support women pursuing ABET-accredited baccalaureate or graduate programs in preparation for careers in engineering, engineering technology and computer science in the United States and Mexico. In 2013, SWE disbursed over 200 new and renewed scholarships valued at $550,000.


Ira A. Fulton College Scholarships

Application Deadline: March 1st

These scholarships include college, study abroad, company sponsored, and others. Fellowships are also offered. Each department within the college awards scholarships. For more information on department scholarships, contact your department secretary.




Other Opportunities

Welding Scholarship- $1000 scholarship. Write an essay on 1 of 6 welding topics. Apply by September 30, 2017.

FCA Women in Engineerig- $2500 scholarship. Open to 20 women. Apply by February 15, 2017.

CGTrader Scholarship- Write an essay on how innovative technologies are transforming our lives. For the following Spring semester the topic is: “The future of technology in education”.The best submission will be awarded $2,000 while the two runners-up will receive $500 each. Apply by June 1, 2017.

James Dyson Award- An international design award for engineers. July 20, 2017.

AfterCollege Scholarships- specializing in awarding current students who are passionate about their field of study and effectively demonstrate the value they will bring to their vocation. Apply by  March 31, 2017.
