Directions
and Maps Salt Lake Airport to BYU (freeway
map) From the airport take I-80 eastbound to the I-215
interchange. I-15 Exit 269 to BYU Campus (Detailed map) Follow
University Parkway East to the BYU campus (about 2 miles). Travel up the
hill and through three lights. Turn left (east) at the fourth
light. To Prof. Beard's office (Campus
map) Walk west (away
from montains) up the hill. The Electrical
and Computer Engineering Department office is on the fourth floor in
room 459. To the Magicc Lab (Campus map) Walk west (away
from mountains) up the hill. Note: BYU does
not permit smoking anywhere on campus. Coffee and tea are not available on
campus.
About ProvoProvo is
located in 4200 ft Utah Valley and just less than an hour south of Salt Lake
City in the State of Utah and
enjoys a small town atmosphere with 105,000 residents, a nice business
community, and two large universities. The 11,750 foot
Mount Timpanogas dominates the skyline north of the
city and the 23 mile long Utah Lake is just to the west. The international airport in Salt Lake City is
the closest major airport to Provo and BYU. It is a major hub for Delta and Southwest airlines. You can either rent a
car at the airport or take the Rocky
Mountain Super Express shuttle service to Provo. The shuttle service can
