Research Description

Interdisicplinary research and development of a variety of advanced microwave remote sensing instruments, techniques, and applications, including the development of mesoscale models of oceanic winds for use in model-based wind retrieval (estimation) algorithms from scatterometer data, resolution enhancement algorithms, sampling theory, cryosphere studies, as well as innovative SAR and scatterometer systems.
