CPD_heat Files
These are the files available for the version of the CPD_heat (Nitrogen and Light Gas species) model that reads in particle heating rate and hold time and then integrates the reaction equations:

This model was developed in 2004 by Tom Fletcher from the CPD_NLG model developed by by Steve Perry, Dominic Genetti, and Tom Fletcher in 1999. This model will predict the nitrogen release based on chemical structure, and will use a table lookup procedure to determine the lisght gas species released. The table lookup procedure is quite fast and suitable for incorporation into large comprehensive CFD codes of coal combustors. The input of particle heating rate was found to be quite useful. The algorithm for the self-adjusting time step for numerical integration was changed in this version to eliminate user errors in selecting the initial time step. Some additional errors were also corrected.
