1. You may assume first order in each species.
2. The holder for the pH probe is a little tipsy. Be careful.
3. Be sure to use a big enough stir bar. The football shaped stir rod works great. Poor mixing will yield undesirable results.
4. Calibrate the PH meter frequently, perhaps as often as between each reaction.
5. Watch the temperature of the mixture closely. The temperature has a big impact on the reaction rate, so make sure that the temperature is controlled before and during the reaction.
