For 2014, this competition will take on a new flavor as part of the Angry Engineers competition.

Laser Truck Rally Redux

We will be holding the competition again during ECEn on Display. This compeition will take place on Tuesday, April 16, from 1-3 PM in the Garden Court area of the WSC. We will allow new student entrants into this competition, so contact Dr. Mazzeo or Dr. Bangerter if you are interested in participating.

Important Information

The competition this year will be held during BYU's Engineering Week. By placing the competition earlier in the semester we hope that students will find it easier to compete and now conflict with their final preparations at the end of the semester.

Register your team in the Department Office, 459 Clyde Building.

This year we will use a more powerful platform so that way we can have better performance in the competition. We will order New Bright 1:10 R/C 9.6V vehicles for each team in the competition.

Important Dates

Friday, January 11, 2013: Registration opens at 9 AM
Tuesday, January 15, 2013: Registration closes at 5 PM
Thursday, January 17, 2013: Cars available for pick-up at the ECE office
Monday, February 18, 2013: Track set up for practice - location and time TBD
Wednesday, February 20, 2013: Competition in the Garden Court of the WSC from 11 AM - 1 PM
