Message from ACET Chair

Greetings ACET members! I hope all is well with you. In this brief space I would like to comment on three things. First, a huge thank you to Mary Peery for being the ACET chair for two years. As co-chair last year I was able to watch Mary in action and marveled at her leadership skills, grasp of the ACET mission and smart application of the mission to our activities. Mary, you are awesome!
Second, I really want us to maximize our attendance at the fall meeting AND bring our spouses. My wife Kris has been absent the last few years and I plan on bringing her this year. Please mark your calendars for Oct. 20-22! The home run for the fall meeting is student touches. The more of us present, the more touches. Please come!
Third, we need new members and would appreciate any candidate names to be sent to me or your committee chair. The ACET member sweet spot is 50 and we are a ways short. Do not contact candidates directly. This is the responsibility of Dean Parkinson's staff.
