Meet Gary and Stephanie Brown

Gary is the vice president of human resources for PulteGroup.  He is also head of HR for Pulte’s Financial Services entities comprising Pulte Mortgage and Pulte Title.  Gary plays a key role in the company’s Leadership Development and Organization Culture Initiatives.

Before joining PulteGroup, Gary worked in International Human Resources, Compensation and Organization Development and HR Generalist at Home Depot company headquarters.

He received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in Philosophy and Spanish and later received a master’s degree in Organizational Behavior from the Marriott School of Business.

Gary served a mission to Quito, Ecuador and then met his wife, Stephanie, at BYU.  He is a huge BYU football and basketball fan.  He is a football season ticket holder and goes to as many away games as possible. 

Stephanie graduated with a master’s degree in accounting and earned her CPA right after she graduated.  She worked as an auditor for Coopers & Lybrand and in Finance at May Co before they started their family.  As a full-time mom, she has kept up with her accounting skills by working from home/part-time at non-profit organizations. 

Residents of Castle Rock, Colorado, they are the proud parents of four children.
