BYU's Facility and Property Management Student Association was recently named Student Chapter of the Year for the seventh time in ten years.

Distinguished chemical engineer and professor Robert Byron Bird will deliver a pair of lectures Nov. 17 and 18 hosted by the Departments of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry and Biochemistry.

Mark Jensen, a chemical engineering grad, won the $10,000 first-place prize for his manufacturing methods for composite lattice pole structures. 
 

Professor Paul W. Richards was awarded the 2010 American Society of Civil Engineers Collingwood Prize. 
 

Mechanical engineer Clark Davis won both first and third place in the 2010 SIOY competiton. 

Civil engineering's Dr. Rollin Hotchkiss' devotional "God Loves You" was recently featured in BYU Magazine.

The annual Women's Leadership Forum will be Oct. 21.  All women students are invited. 

The college will host mentoring activities for seniors, juniors and grad students as part of the ACET conference. 

The college's first annual Student Innovator of the Year competition will feature events on Oct. 19 and 21, including an address from Rick Alden, CEO of Skullcandy. 

The dual MS/MBA degree program in Product Development is not admitting students pending the restructuring of faculty assignments and responsibilities.
