We are pleased to debut the WE@BYU portion of the college website. The site is targeted to provide information on our programs to prospective and new women students and their parents, current women students and college alumni and corporate partners. The site features information on current programs and events for students, a schedule of upcoming events and news stories that feature our outstanding women students.  One of the highlights is a series of profiles of some of our WE@BYU Dynamic Women. These profiles highlight some of our great women students, alumni and faculty and let us share with some of their accomplishments and what excites them about engineering and technology and how they are using their education to make the world a better place. Future additions to the site will include additional dynamic women profiles, resources and information on engineering and technology careers and more detailed information on how alumni and corporate sponsors can support and be involved in our programs. 

On March 1 we had our first annual WE@BYU Celebration: WE Connect.  Building on the success of the Women’s Leadership Forum events previously held during our annual ACET meetings, this event was designed to bring together our women students to foster a stronger sense of community.  It was the most successful gathering of women in the college to date, with more than 140 students and alumni mentors in attendance!  It was also an excellent opportunity to connect students and alumni, and to learn from an outstanding panel of professional women  representing a wide range of majors, career choices and personal life situations. We look forward to growing this event as the annual culmination of our WE@BYU activities.
